Initial Psychiatric Evaluations
Consists of assessment and diagnosis of behavioral or emotional disorders, along with a psychosocial and complete medical history taking.

Medication Management Follow Up
Medications prescribed will require monthly management in the beginning to ensure proper dosing to minimize the risk of side effects with changes to treatment if necessary. Includes brief supportive psychotherapy.

Preceptorship
As a preceptor, we have a unique opportunity to serve as a role model for Physician Assistants and nursing students by setting an example of excellence in the nursing/PA practice. The goal of entering a preceptorship is to educate students on current mental health issues and to clarify and present the role of the nurse or PA-Student. Students will learn how to apply complex skills through their educational training as we serve as the bridge during the transition from student to practitioner.
This program will allow students to identify professional career goals as well as recognize their strengths as an educator in the nursing/PA career.

The DEA requires monthly visits for controlled stimulants in the treatment of ADHD.
Mentally Fit Corporate Wellness Program
MMHWS will also incorporate a mentally fit wellness program specifically designed for small to large corporations in the South Florida area.
Some of these programs will include seminars on working cohesively with other employees, teaching company leaders how to implement healthy team-building which has been shown to raise employee engagement and productivity and subsequently increase company revenue.
Art Therapy
Art therapy is an area of mental health that uses art materials and the creative process to explore emotions, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem, and resolve other psychological conflicts.
