FAQs
Whether you’re considering care for yourself or loved one, I know finding the right fit can feel overwhelming. Here are some answers to common questions about my practice and approach.
No, I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance at this time. This allows me to offer longer, more personalized appointments without the limitations of insurance-driven care. However, I can provide a superbill upon request for potential reimbursement through your insurance provider.
Integrative psychiatry blends traditional mental health care (like therapy and medication) with holistic approaches such as nutritional guidance, lifestyle changes, and supplement support. My goal is to treat the whole person—not just the symptoms—to promote lasting mental wellness.
We’ll work together to find the right balance of treatments to help you feel your best.
The 75-minute intake is a comprehensive evaluation where I take time to fully understand your history, symptoms, and goals. We’ll explore treatment options together, and you’ll leave with a clear, customized plan that may include therapy, labs, nutritional changes, or medication if appropriate.
You can schedule your free consultation directly through my website. After that, if we’re a good fit, you’ll receive access to book your 75-minute intake session. From there, follow-ups are scheduled based on your needs and preferences.
Absolutely. Medication is never a requirement. We’ll explore all options—including therapy, lifestyle, and nutritional interventions—and make a collaborative plan that feels right for you.
Patient safety and appropriate care are my top priorities. Therefore, I do not prescribe controlled substances during initial visits. The decision to prescribe such medications is made on a case-by-case basis, considering the clinical necessity and risks. They are only considered for patients who demonstrate ongoing engagement in their treatment plans. Please note that, in some instances, in-person visits may be required before initiating or continuing prescriptions for controlled substances, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
